Description
The Equodent Angled Handpiece “Michael Nowak” with IC 300 (90°, 3.175 collett) was developed for the following applications:
- Diastema work
- Cheek tooth segmentation
- Tooth crown remodeling to improve the grip of the extraction forceps
- Pre-drilling during Minimally Invasive Transbuccal Extraction
The shaft bearing is greased which makes it “waterproof” and running quiet, without vibrations.
It is prepared for an external water supply enabling water cooling during drilling. Water cooling is recommended because the temperatures of the burrs (diamond or tungsten burr) can become high and can damage the tooth.
The handpiece is available for HDE and Key Drive Shaft.
The Equodent Angled Handpiece “Michael Nowak” with IC 300 (90°, 3.175 collett) is delivered routinely with 2 diamond burrs for diastema treatment, a grease tube, grease gun and dismounting tools (special key and multifunctional spindle holder). It comes with the 10 mm water clip for the diastema burr, to be used with the shortest Carbide burr (both 38 mm).
Additionally there are 2 water clips available which can be ordered separately:
- 20 mm water clip is developed for the 51 mm Carbide Burr
- 35 mm water clip is developed for the 64 mm and 77 mm Carbide Burrs
As an extension we offer the KC 300 head (50°, 3.175 collett) with 2 according water clips – 15 and 35 mm. It is useful for the work on the last 2 molars.
