Equine Dental Diagnostics Upgrade is a course designed to hone a practitioner\u2019s oral examination and dental radiographs skills utilizing the newest technology.<\/p>\n
This course will focus on arming veterinarians with a deeper understanding of oral and dental anatomy, common pathology, examination techniques, radiographic acquisition, and radiographic interpretation.<\/p>\n
Oral examination will be taught with the newest equipment for oral and dental endoscopy. Both intraoral and extraoral radiographic techniques will be taught using the most state-of-the-art imaging systems.\u00a0\u00a0After performing oral exams and acquiring radiographs, radiographic interpretation and treatment will be discussed and practiced in small groups to maximize learning. Veterinarians will leave the course with the knowledge to either start or build their dental practice.<\/p>\n
Course Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n Goals for this meeting will be to provide equine veterinarians instruction and education in the following topics:<\/p>\n The overall goal of this meeting is for private practitioners to explore the latest in dental diagnostic technology and leave the meeting feeling empowered to perform high quality oral examinations and acquire diagnostic dental radiographs that they can accurately interpret to provide a treatment plan.<\/p>\n RACE Approved:<\/strong>\u00a016.0 Hours<\/p>\n Course Pre-Requisites:\u00a0<\/strong>Participants will be provided with 8 hours of online lectures.\u00a0\u00a0Participants must review the material prior to the course, and they will be required to take quizzes after each topic vignette.\u00a0\u00a0By reviewing material and taking the quizzes, the participants will earn 8 hours of CE credit prior to arrival at the conference site.<\/p>\n\n
